Dr Adeline Soh was raised in Melbourne and studied Chiropractic at RMIT, graduating in 1995.
Dr Soh practised in Newcastle, NSW before heading overseas to travel and to work as a locum in the UK.
She returned home in 1998 to then travel around Australia, working in both city and country practices.
In 2002 she established herself in Armadale, Melbourne.
Ashwood Chiropractic was set up in April 2005.
Dr Soh has undertaken further studies since graduating, particularly in the field of
kinesiology and
paediatrics. Her passion for chiropractic is found in helping people on their journey towards better health.
WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC?
Chiropractic is an independent and natural approach to healthcare. It specialises in the relationship between the spine and the nervous system, and the effect that impaired movement of the spine has on health.
WHO SHOULD SEE A CHIROPRACTOR?
A wide variety of
chiropractic techniques, traditional and low-force, are offered at Ashwood Chiropractic, so we cater for everyone from newborn children to the elderly. Special emphasis is placed on
family care.

Dr Soh has a special interest in TMJ (temperomandibular joint) problems.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I SEE A CHIROPRACTOR?
At your first consultation a full history will be taken. A discussion and recommendations for care will be given, followed by a thorough examination.
Xrays are often required to support the chiropractor's findings. These are usually covered by Medicare. |

On the second visit, your treatment plan will be outlined and xrays are reviewed with you. Chiropractic care commences, involving adjustments (correction) of the spine.
We believe in the holistic approach to health, which involves not only relieving your pain, but identifying and correcting the cause. Hence, we offer advice regarding exercise, stretches, nutrition and self-care.

If you are unsure about whether Chiropractic can help you, then consider booking in for a complimentary Chiropractic screening. This involves a spinal examination and consultation with Dr Soh.
Children under the age of 15 are screened for free. Children's spines are often injured during or soon after birth, and after any illness or traumatic event. Having your child checked by a chiropractor can detect any impairment of their spine and adjustments will enable them to heal and realise their full health potential.
