Orthodontics
Dr. Selina Soh
has a keen interest in orthodontics
and has furthered her studies, enabling
her to perform a wide range of orthodontics
for both adults and children.
Orthodontics is the diagnosis, prevention
and treatment of problems relating
to the alignment of teeth and jaws.
This treatment involves the wearing
of fixed orthodontics (braces) or
removable orthodontics (plates), depending
on the severity of the patient's alignment
problem (malocclusion).
Orthodontics are not only important for appearance, but also the health and function of teeth. Malocclusion can cause speech problems, abnormal tooth wear, gum problems, and make it very difficult to maintain a high level of oral hygiene.
